The tarallo pugliese (tarallino) takes its name from the greek "daratos" (kind of bread) and is characteristic to be the only product with Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Apulia.
The mixture obtained is cooked in a wood oven and the result is our classic version, with wild fennel seeds.
Its small size, combined with a low caloric power, makes it particularly suitable as an accompaniment to aperitifs, becoming the favorite Italian snack, even and especially worldwide, instead of pretzels and peanuts.
